Who We Are

VET-Caucasus is a project aimed at enhancing the relevance, quality, and responsiveness of VET institutions in Armenia and Georgia by equipping them with EU-aligned tools and methodologies. General objective of VET-Caucasus is to support the relevance and responsiveness of VET institutions and systems in Armenia and Georgia by building and enhancing the capacity of VET providers in the domains of management, quality assurance and innovation for training content.

WP 1

Project Management and Quality Control

January 2026-January 2028

The primary objective of Work Package 1 (WP1) is to ensure effective project management, coordination, and quality assurance throughout the project’s implementation. WP1 aims to establish a clear, structured management and decision-making framework, facilitating efficient collaboration and communication among partners. It ensures timely implementation of activities, adherence to quality standards, and transparent reporting of technical and financial progress.

WP 3

Capacity Building and Piloting

June - September 2026

  • To strengthen knowledge exchange and cooperation between VET institutions, industry, and policymakers in Armenia, Georgia, and the EU.

  • To equip VET institutions with modern teaching methods and EU tools (EQF, EQAVET, ESCO, Europass, Cedefop, EntreComp) to align training with labour market needs and ensure quality and transparency.

  • To strengthen institutional capacities at three levels: Managerial, Technical and Operational.

WP 2

Training Development

January - November 2026

Work package 2 is designed to equip VET providers in Armenia and Georgia with structured tools, governance models, and modern training methodologies that align with EU frameworks and labour market needs. 

WP 4

Dissemination and Sustainability

January 2026-January 2028

  • To ensure visibility: Strengthen dissemination, communication, and stakeholder engagement.

  • To maximise impact: Promote results through outreach, events, and stakeholder involvement.

  • To ensure sustainability: Support long-term adoption and integration of project results.
